Industrial zinc alloys has been developed based on the Zn—Al and Zn—Al—Cu systems. Almost all zinc alloys contain magnesium addition (up to 0,1%), that allows to raise size stability of cast products and to increase corrosion resistance of the alloys. Zinc alloys are divided into casting and antifriction ones.

Notes:
- On customer’s request mass concentration of copper as an alloying element can be up to 0,10% in the alloy materials of grades ZnA14A, ЦА4-о, ЦА4
- Upon agreement between producer and customer the alloy materials of grade ЦА4М3о may contain mass concentration of tin up to 0,002%, cadmium – up to 0,004% at total content of lead, cadmium and tin being not more than 0,009%.
- On customer’s request mass concentration of lead should not exceed 0,006% in the alloy materials of grades ЦА4, ЦА4М1 and ЦА4М3
- 4. The chemical composition of the alloy materials is determined in accordance with GOST 25284.0–GOST 25284.8. It is allowed to control the chemical composition by using other methods, which ensure accuracy being not less than the one indicated in the standards above. In case of controversy in chemical composition analysis, the control is carried out in conformity with GOST 25284.0–GOST 25284.8.

ЦАМ 4-1; ЦАМ 4-3; ЦАМ 4-1о; ЦАМ 9-1,5; ЦАМ 10-5; ЦА 4; ЦА 4о alloys are designated for production of castings, manufactured for national economy and export, for friction bearings. They are used in cast and deformed state in the friction assemblies, which temperature does not exceed 80-100 degrees.
