Babbit GOST 1320-74
Tin and lead babbits in the form of ingots are special fusible bearing alloys. Their structure always consists of soft base and hard spots. Babbits can be tin (tin alloy with antimony and copper), lead (lead alloy with antimony, copper and tin), calcium (lead alloy with calcium and natrium).
Babbit are produced in the form of ingots and by the chemical composition are classified into following grades: Б-88, Б-83, Б-16, БН, Б 83С, БС6.
