Ferroalloys

Ferroalloys are alloys of ferrum and other elements (chrome, manganese, calcium). Some alloys, containing ferrum admixture (silicocalcium, cilicomanganese and others), and some metals and non-metals (Mn, Cr, Si) with minimum admixture content are provisionally attributed to ferroalloys.

Ferroalloys are used for steel doping and deoxidation, liquid impurities fixation and conferring necessary metal structure and properties.
