Tin

Tin is characterized by high corrosion resistance and plasticity, can be easily rolled out to very thin sheets and forms alloys with many metals.

Very often tin alloys are used as antifriction materials or solders. Antifriction materials allow saving of machines and mechanisms by reducing friction losses; solders affix metallic parts.

Tin coatings are characterized by good adhesion to the basis and secure good corrosion preventing and nice appearance, what allows solving of various industrial and decorative tasks. Fusion point is 232 °C.
