Notes:
- 1. Ni mass fraction in Cd (grade Кд0А) shouldn’t be more than 0,001 %, in Cd (grade Кд0) – 0,002 %. Ni mass fraction in Cd (grade Кд1) is set as agreed by the manufacturer and customer.
- 2. As, Sb and Sn mass fraction in Cd (grade Кд0А and grade Кд0) shouldn’t be more than 0,003 %, in Cd (grade Кд1) – 0,002 % of each component; it is determined periodically no less than once a month.
It is used for nickel-cadmium cells production; alloys preparation. It is applied as a rust-preventing coating. Also cadmium is used in the nuclear-power engineering.
