Cadmium

Silvery-white metal with glittering surface. Is characterized by high plasticity, softness, can be deformed even in the cold state.

Cadmium is used for applying electrolytic rust-preventing coverings, for antifriction alloys production.

Cadmium is easy to weld and to fuse.

Fusion temperature is 320.9 °C.
