Metallizated zinc coating

The coating is applied by dispersion of zinc by means of air stream or hot gas. Depending on the method of dispersion zinc wire (rod) or zinc powder is used. Flame spraying and arc spraying is used in the industry.

Metallized zinc coatings are optimal to protect from corrosion large-size metal constructions which are impossible to place into bath with melted zinc or in the galvanic bath. Such coatings can have long-term protective potency in different conditions of exploitation (atmospheric conditions, fresh and sea water), which comes to 30 years and more.
