When electrolytic method of zincing is used, deposition of zinc coatings on the surface of items is performed in electrolytic solutions under current. The main components of these electrolytes are salts of zinc. The essence of electrode processes during electrolytic zincing consists in oxidation reactions (on anode) and reduction (on cathode-item) followed by flowing of electrons through the outer circuit and movement of zinc ions in electrolyte from anode to cathode.
